This case study demonstrates the directed design of synthetic DNA using the Evo2 foundation model. Evo2 was used for targeted generation of SNVs and indels in coding and non-coding sequences. It also enabled pathogenicity-directed sequence design and functional alterations in promoter regions, like MLH1.
